UK PokerNews Round-Up: Big Wins, Triple Crowns and More 0001

There's been plenty going on over at our UK & Ireland-facing site over the past week or so and we thought it was about time that we brought you up to speed.

Kirsty Thompson is one of the most popular and respected people in poker. Credited with the creation of the ever-popular UKIPT series (not to mention being instrumental in taking the UKIPT and PokerStars into parts previously unknown), Thompson has been given a new role within the company.

The UK online poker rankings received a shuffle this week with a number of players climbing up the leaderboard and some new faces in the top 20.

Christopher Johnson moved up to third in the standings, and Conor Beresford entered the top 10. Both Marcin Milde and Sam Grafton returned to the top 20.
