With the recent announcement of the PokerStars Championship events starting in 2017, we take a look back at the very first Awards hosted by Gloria Balding and Daniel Negreanu. The awards took place in Barcelona in 2008 and were a huge success. Since 2008, the have continued and now there is also an annual as well.
