Angel Perez raised to 450,000 on the button with K♦6♣ and Alvaro Murciano attempted to three-bet in the small blind with A♣9♠. The dealer told him his clock had run out before he put in a raise and a tournament official had to be called over. It was ruled that Murciano had run out of time and he was forced to instead fold as Perez took the pot.
Perez then limped in from the small blind and Murciano checked back J♣9♣. The flop came A♦3♣2♦ and Perez led out for 225,000. Murciano then raised to 500,000 and Perez called.
Perez checked to Murciano on the 7♠ turn, and Murciano fired out 1,300,000 this time. Perez quickly folded 9♦4♣ as Murciano moved past 10,000,000.
