The first flight of Event #3: $600 Deepstack Kick-Off saw 243 runners walk through the door and after 15 levels of play, only 41 remain with Roumen Arabadjiev bagging the lead from Day 1a.
Arabadjiev sat just about average for most of the day and it was not until the last few hands of the night that he really started to catapult near the top, eventually bagging the lead with a stack of 488,000.
Some other players to find a stack on the bigger side of things include George Alberto (435,000), Ralph Macri (311,000), Michael Wang (251,000), Michael Marder (205,000), Will "The Thrill" Failla (204,000), Rafael Reis (158,000), and Ryan McKnight (154,000).
The remaining players from this flight will combine with the next three starting flight survivors and return on Friday, November 8 at noon to battle it out on Day 2. Chip counts and seating assignments will be posted before the starting of Day 2.

The tournament will now be taking the last break of the night.
Will "The Thrill" Failla opened to 7,000 from middle position and both blinds defended, Rafael Reis included. The dealer fanned out on the flop and action checked to Failla who bet 10,000.
Action folded to Reis, he check-raised to 28,000 and Failla moved all in for 89,500. Reis took several minutes to think but in the end, he let go of his hand, shipping the pot to Failla.

Robert Flacco opened to 7,000 and Glen Passin called to see the flop. Passin moved all in and Flacco took a moment to think, ultimately he called for his 43,000 stack and the two tabled their hands.

The flop showed and three players had all over their chips pushed into the middle, Ralph Macri included.

Macri was well in the lead with his set of jacks, but needed to dodge some outs to take down the pot. A turn card came down on the turn, improving Macri to a boat and the river rolled out clean, cementing the pot for Macri who eliminated two players and now has the tournament chip lead.
