Day 1c of the 2019 Borgata Poker Open (BPO) Event #10: $400 Almighty Stack drew 402 runners, which means along with Flight A's 346 and B's 177 the total field stands at 925 with three more flights to go.
After 17 levels of play, approximately 100 remained with John Michalak and his stack of 1.556 million leading the way. That is just behind Day 1b chip leader Sridhar Sangannagari (1,570,000) but just ahead of Day 1a leader Spencer Champlin (1,547,000).
Others to bag big stacks were Jingzhe Cao (1,367,000), Catherine Dever (923,000), Adam Pease (754,000), and Eric Hayes (721,000).
They were joined by Jackie Scott (645,000), Chris Conrad (428,000), 13-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Maurice Hawkins (415,000), bracelet winner Jessica Dawley (352,000), $230 Deeper Stack champ Steve Nooralian (337,000), and Stanley Lee (275,000).

An extremely short-stacked player got his last 5,000 all in preflop from early position and Yi Wei moved all in over the top next to act. Action folded around to the player in the big blind you called off for 53,000.

Maurice Hawkins, a 13-time WSOP Circuit ring winner, raised the hijack to 21,000 and Jon Lane, who is decked out in a flamingo shirt, defended his big blind to see a flop.
Lane check and Hawkins continued for 28,000. Lane thought long and hard before making the call and the peeled off on the turn.

A player in early position moved all in for 95,500 and Mike Goldberg responded by jamming over the top for around 120,000 from the hijack. Everyone else got out of the way and the hands were turned up.
