Day 3 Highlights
Pokerstars Ambassador Alejandro Lococo began the day as the chip leader, but despite staying aggressive throughout, he struggled to gain traction and eventually bowed out in 36th place for €15,140.
Pokerstars Ambassador Julien Brecard was also in the top ten at the start of Day 3, battling throughout the day until he ran his pocket tens into the pocket aces of Luis Rayon Perez, resulting in his elimination in 58th place for €11,470.
With only a couple of hours left of play for the day, Nadal soared to the top of the leaderboard when he turned a full house and caught Luis Rayon Perez speeding with just king-high.
Despite doubling up shortly before, Dennis Hertel was the final player to bust on the last hand of the night, finishing in 20th place for €26,540 when his ace-king failed to overcome the pocket jacks of Jean-Pierre Benvenga.
Of the 19 remaining, there are plenty of notables still in contention, including Alexandre Reard (12,300,000), Martin Zamani (12,000,000), and fan-favorite Ren Lin (11,000,000).
All 19 players have secured a payout of€26,540, but all eyes are on the top prize of €625,000.

Stay tuned for a recap of Day 3.
Jean-Pierre Benvenga opened 800,000 in the hijack and Dennis Hertel three-bet jammed for roughly 4,400,000. The action folded back around to Benvenga and he quickly made the call.
Dennis Hertel: A♠K♥
Jean-Pierre Benvenga: J♠J♣
It was the classic race but Hertel was unable to connect as the board ran out 5♥3♥2♦8♠9♠, sending him home in 20th place.

The dealer spread a flop of K♦8♦4♠, and Vinicenka check-called a bet of 450,000.
The 9♣ turn was checked through to see the Q♠ on the river, and Vinicenka led for 550,000. Hertel tossed in a call.
Vinicenka tabled K♠2♣ for top pair, and Hertel mucked his hand.

The tournament director has announced that play will conclude after the next three hands. Day 4 will start at 12 p.m. on Sunday, September 1.
Dennis Hertel jammed for 2,325,000 on the button and Dario Pieruzzini announced all in from the small blind, forcing the big blind to muck his hand.
Dennis Hertel: K♦7♠
Dario Pieruzzini: A♣10♥
"Bink it!" Yelled Hertel's rail. "Seven!"
The K♥5♣2♣ wasn't the seven he called for, but it did give him the lead with a pair of kings. The Q♦ turn and the 4♦ river were no help for Pieruzzini, sending the pot toward Hertel.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Santiago Nadal raised to 850,000 from the small blind and Sylvain Berthelot called from the big blind.
Nadal check-called a 625,000 bet from Berthelot on the K♣A♦10♣ flop and checked again after the J♦ brought a four-liner on board. Berthelot sized up for a bet of 1,150,000 and Nadal again called.
The A♣ completed the board and Nadal checked a final time. Berthelot rapped the table after thinking a while and Nadal turned over A♥9♦ for trip aces. Berthelot sent his hand into the muck and Nadal dragged the pot.

Max Bashlawi shoved his last 3,575,000 in the hijack and Stanislovas Vinicenka called in the big blind.
Max Bashlawi: A♦7♣
Stanislovas Vinicenka: K♠Q♦
The 10♥10♠9♣ flop gave Vinicenka a gutshot straight draw to go along with his two live cards. The 8♥ turn changed nothing, but the Q♠ river meant Bashlawi was eliminated in 21st place.
