An exciting day of poker has now come to an end here at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada. The partypoker MILLIONS North America $5,300 Main Event Day 1D had 620 entries, with 272 bagging their chips and moving onto Day 2.
The chip leader at the end of the day was Michael Sklenicka who bagged 10,195,000. Sklenicka registered after the first break but quickly jumped into the action and spun up a big stack. The Czech native has accumulated over $500,000 in live earnings, with his biggest cash coming in the WSOP Main Event for $263,352.
Sklenicka not only was the chip leader of Day 1D but he has also bagged the largest stack of any flight so far, surpassing Tony Dunst (8,050,000) and sitting atop the chip leaderboard with the only eight-figure stack.
Although it was a packed room today, it was still easy to see alot of notable faces that had decent sized stacks. Many of them were still looking to bag chips for the first time and those fortunate enough to do so were Demo Kiriopoulos (6,080,000), Joseph Sicko (6,070,000), Joao Simao (4,555,000), Joseph Cheong (4,030,000), Mike Leah (3,865,000), John Racener (2,895,000), and Sergei Gurin (2,555,000).
There are now four Day 1s completed, with 585 runners finding a bag for Day 2. The last flight is Day 1E, which started at 8:00 PM and players will also be giving the opportunity to buy in on Day 2 for the first four levels of play. and Parker Talbot bet 100,000 from the button, into a pot of approximately 270,000. Sylvain Siebert called from the big blind and the turn fell the 
. Siebert checked the turn and Talbot fired out 230,000.
Siebert check-raised to 500,000 and Talbot made the call. Siebert announced, "i'm all in " before the 
hit the table. Talbot made the call for his last 1,400,000 and Siebert then flipped over 
for the full house. Talbot mucked his hand and exited the tournament.

Malcolm Bolger opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by the big blind. The flop fell 
and the big blind check-called a bet of 125,000 from Bolger.
The turn brought the 
and the big blind checked to Bolger again, who bet another 260,000. His opponent called and the completed the board. The action was checked to Bolger one more time and he splashed in a bet of 420,000. Michael Sklenicka stood up from the table and gave his thoughts on the hand.
"This guy is coming to play," he said, talking about Bolger. "He's firing every hand!"
Although the big blind chose to fold, Bolger still flashed his to show he had a legit hand.

On a flop reading 
with around 200,000 in the middle, the action was checked to the button who bet 110,000. Yuan Jiang called from the big blind and Chris Moorman shoved all in for 620,000 in early position. The button just called which led to Jiang shoving all in over the top. The button quickly mucked his cards and the final two hands were tabled.

Brian MacDonald opened for 60,000 and the button called. Jean Brassard went all in for 475,000 from the small blind and MacDonald called the all in. The button folded and the players then showed their cards with Brassard being at risk.
