After a horrible bad beat in the Day 1c, Germany’s Huseyin Arkun is alive and kicking in the Day 1c.
“I can’t believe it. I shoved with , and I got called by an opponent who had nothing. But then, of course, he found a runner-runner flush at the river and sent me to the rails. Seriously, I get Aces once a year and I lose the hand like that. It’s just bad.”
Arkun, who runs one of the many clubs that surround the King’s Casino, is the definition of “a regular” here in Rozvadov.
With live tournament earnings for $122,407, Arkun got 29 of his 30 cashes here at the King’s Casino. His best result so far came only a few weeks ago, when he came third in the World Series if Poker Circuit Event #2 for $24,607.
