The final starting flight of the Run Good Poker Series Bossier City Main Event is done and a total of 464 entries queued up for their shot at the $53,360 first prize and the Showbound trophy.
Demond Williams led the final flight with 225,000. The 30 that survived Day 1C will join the other 64 players and for Day 2 Sunday at noon.
Kris Burchfield, Chris Conrad, and Chris Horter all played multiple bullets and failed to qualify. Horter was the one who made it the furthest. Williams managed to bag the chip lead after a huge pot where he turned two pair and got all in to double up huge shortly before bagging.
Todd Smith is going to be the overall chip leader heading into Day 2 after he bagged a whopping 343,000 in Day 1A.
