Day 1a of the €1,200 WSOP-C Main Event of the WSOP Circuit Paris 2024 has concluded here at Stade Jean-Bouin, with the flight attracting a massive 387 entries.

Of those, 141 players remain and have bagged for Day 2, with seven-time WSOP-C ring winner Sonny Franco (281,000) amassing a top ten stack. Franco will be looking to add to his impressive resume of over $3,700,000 in live winnings and to put another WSOP-C ring into his trophy cabinet.

Guillaume Walch of France (419,000) is chasing his first circuit ring and has bagged the chip lead from Day 1a, closely followed by his fellow countrymen Philippe Barouk (363,000) and Fabien Garcia (311,000).

Other notable players to progress from Day 1a include €550 WSOP-C Cup winner Samuel Fournier (166,000), Kalidou Sow (131,000) and Fabrice Bigot (126,000).

Day 1c and 1d are scheduled to take place on May 25 at 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. local time respectively, with all players beginning with a 50,000 starting stack at blinds of 100/200, with a 200 big blind ante. Day 1c players will play ten 60-minute levels, while Day 1d players will play ten 30-minute levels, but otherwise following the same structure as previous flights.

Players who have already played a Day 1 flight will only be permitted one entry per remaining flight. However, new players will be able to enter and reenter in Day 1c, but would then be limited to a single entry in Day 1d.

Day 2 is scheduled for May 26 at 1 p.m. local time and will feature 60-minute levels. Late registration is open for two hours after the start of Day 2, up to Level 12.
