Join us tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. PDT for our final table coverage of Event 51, as the final eight players fight for one of the last gold bracelets to be awarded this summer.
The last elimination of the evening came courtesy of Raymond Davis, who felted Eric Tomberlin by making a pair of nines on the flop holding 10-9, against Tomberlin's A-8. Tomberlin would make a pair of eights on the river, but to no avail.
For his ninth-place finish, Tomberlin received $8,171 in prize money.
We've witnessed the action pick up a little bit over the past five minutes on both tables.
At table 61, Adam Geyer won a very large pot against David Duran, which left Duran with only 25,000 chips. The hand hoisted Geyer into the chip lead with 290,000 chips.
On table 62, Imre Leibold won a monster by way of Eric Tomberlin, making two pair (aces and nines). Leibold is now at 155,000 chips while Tomberlin dropped to 87,000 on the hand.
