Thomas Taylor Eliminated in 3rd Place ($44,112)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Thomas Taylor
Thomas Taylor

Thomas Taylor: {x-}{x-} / {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} / {x-}
Daniel Weinman: {x-}{x-} / {10-}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} / {x-}
Alex Livingston: {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {k-Spades}

Thomas Taylor has been eliminated in 3rd place. In the previous hand, Taylor had lost a decent percentage of his stack, so by the time he was all-in, it was for 130,000 chips.

Alex Livingston started with an open, Taylor raised to 120,000 and Daniel Weinman called too, then Livingston put in the bet to get the rest of Taylors chips in the middle and Weinman called to create the side pot.

It was inconsequential and after Weinman bet fourth and Livingston called. On fifth street Weinman check-called a bet from Livingston of 120,000 and Weinman called.

Cards were shown and no surprise that Livingston was winning the pot with a full house, fives full of tens, eliminating Taylor and sending us to heads-up play.

Hojeong Lee Eliminated in 4th Place ($31,083)

Hojeong Lee

Hojeong Lee: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}/{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}/{j-Diamonds}
Alex Livingston: {k-Spades}{8-Spades}/{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}/{a-Hearts}

Action came in on fifth street as Hojeong Lee bet 120,000 with a pair of tens showing. Livingston raised to 240,000. Lee quickly re-raised to 360,000 and Livingston raised again to make Lee put in the rest of his stack.

Lee had the lead as he turned over buried aces and Livingston had a flush draw. Sixth street was bad news for Lee as Livingston made his flush with the {5-Spades}, much to Lee's dismay.

Seventh street was dealt; Lee needed a ten or ace to make a boat but it was just the {j-Diamonds} and he was eliminated as Livingston had the {a-Hearts}, the card that would've given Lee a full house on the river for a little extra needle.

Kenny Hsiung Eliminated in 5th Place ($22,344)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Kenny Hsiung

Kenny Hsiung: {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} / {8-}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-} / {a-Clubs}
Thomas Taylor: {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {7-Spades}{2-}{4-}{2-} / {x-}

Shortly after doubling, Hsiung got it in against Thomas Taylor. Hsiung made it 60,000 to go and Taylor raised. With the action on Hsiung again he re-raised and Taylor called. They got the remainder of Hsiung's chips in on fourth street and cards were on their backs.

Taylor's pair of sevens improves to two pair with deuces. It was good enough to scoop the important pot for the Alberta native and send Hsiung to the rail in 5th, good for $22,344.

Brad Ruben Eliminated in 7th Place ($12,276); John Racener Eliminated in 6th Place ($16,391)

Alex Livingston: {k-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-} / {x-}

On third street Ruben bet out and Alex Livingston raised. John Racener reraised and Ruben moved all in for his last 190,000, and both Livingston and Racener called. That got the rest of Racener's stack in and cards were dealt.

By seventh street, Livingston made kings up, which was enough to eliminate both players. PokerNews didn't catch Ruben's hand, but it was no match for Livingston, and with the shorter stack he finished in seventh while Racener exited in sixth place.

Brad Ruben
Brad Ruben

Brad Ruben: {x-}{x-} / {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}
Alex Livingston: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

In the previous hand, Brad Ruben had bet 50,000 on third street and was called by Alex Livingston.

Ruben then check-called a bet by Livingston on fourth. On fifth, he folded when Livingston kept betting. Ruben jokingly asked the dealer ''I'd like to use my one time to switch cards,'' pointing to Livingston's {q-Clubs}.

Kenny Hsiung: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} / {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts} / {x-}
Brad Ruben: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades} / {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} / {q-Hearts}

In the following hand, Ruben bet 50,000 on third and Hsiung put him all in for his remaining chips. The board ran out good enough for Ruben as his pair of aces scooped the pot.
