Event #75: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em
Day 1 Completed
Day 1 has concluded in Event #75: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker, where a total of 1,437 teams joined the action at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. That surpassed the 2023 total of 1,282 tandems, and this year’s field generated a prize pool worth $1,264,560, with first place paying out $95,455 for each winning team member.
The atmosphere proved energetic, as some teams embraced the tag team spirit with matching shirts, hoodies, and hats. One team consisting of Richard Collins and Vincent Elia took matters a step further with humorous-themed hats, specifically Collins wearing a yellow fish on his head and Elia wearing a donkey.
Multiple teams bagged big on Day 1 after 11 levels, with Ivan Rezzonico - Alejandro Lococo leading the way with 331,500. They're followed by Charlton Zhu – Nick Bond (319,500), while Kyle Cartwright – Scott Stuart also topped the 300,000 mark.
