We're Done!

At 6:15 a.m Mark Gregorich became our 10th-place finisher and after a grueling 13 hours of play we are finally down to our final table of nine players.

We'll have the official chip counts for you very shortly, but after some very aggressive play on the bubble we expect Thang Luu to hold the chip lead heading into the final day of play tomorrow...err later today!

We've just been informed that the final table will now start at the delayed start time of 4 p.m. PDT to ensure everyone gets plenty of rest. We look forward to your company then!

Mark Gregorich Eliminated in 10th Place ($13,985)

On a board of {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Greg Jamison bet enough to put Mark Gregorich all in. Gregorich finally made the call. Gregorich held {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Jamison held {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} . Jamison held a six-high straight, good to scoop both the high and the low. The river card was a blank and we now have our final nine.

Break

It's 5:45 a.m. and a perfect time to take a ten-minute break!

Jose Razocabrera Eliminated in 11th Place ($13,985)

Jose Razocabrera found himself all in against the rampaging Thang Luu with his tournament life on the line.

Razocabrera: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Luu: {2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs} and the kings of Luu hold to eliminate Razocabrera from the tournament in 11th place for a collect of $13,985.

Gregorich Won't Die

Thang Luu has been raising relentlessly and pounding on the short stacks, and in a recent hand he opened with a raise and Mark Gregorich made an all-in call.

Gregorich: {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Luu: {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and amazingly the river gives Gregorich a Broadway straight for the high and the best low. He was almost down to the felt but now with this scoop he gets his head above water again on about 50,000 in chips.
