Event #25: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better
Day 3 Completed
Well, ten levels had been played and we're still left with a heads up battle yet to be finished. Tomorrow our two remaining players, Mike Sexton and Chris Viox will be returning tomorrow at 3pm to finish this match once and for all (unless it takes more than ten levels).
Hopefully all the railbirds will be back tomorrow for all the action as this match continues. Sexton might have a bit of a hill to climb but he's still in with a chance and one scooped pot could completely swing this match.
We'll be back tomorrow at 3pm for the unscheduled Day 4 of this event as the two players battle it out once more for the $200,000 first prize as well as the bracelet. Can Viox win his first ever? Or will Sexton triumph in the event he won exactly 22 years ago?
Tune into PokerNews to find out!

Chris Viox was the bring in and called Mike Sexton's completion. When Viox paired up on fourth street, he bet. Sexton called and both checked fifth street.
Viox's bet on sixth was called, as was his bet on seventh. He showed for trip two's and a 7-6-4-2-A low. Sexton flashed for a pair of eights and an 8-7-6-5-A low, but was scooped on both halves of the pot.
The next pot was a small one that Viox won also, but with that the tenth level of the day has ended and the ten-level rule has taken precedence, ending play for the night.

Chris Viox raised his ace and Mike Sexton made it two bets. Viox called and bet the on fourth, Sexton called and the two got it all in on fifth street. Viox showed a pair of nines but Sexton's sevens and fives were in the lead and it managed to stay that way.
As Sexton doubled up, Chris Viox sighed, "Looks like we're coming back tomorrow..."
Viox turned to the tournament director and asked about the fact they would be forced to stop playing shortly.
Viox, "That's really ridiculous...What's the rationale behind the rule?"
Sexton has remained fairly quiet but Viox clearly wants to play this out tonight even though it doesn't look like that will happen now as we only have three minutes left on the clock.

Chris Viox raised with his king and Mike Sexton made it two bets, Viox made the call and then led out on fourth street. On fifth, Viox check-raised Sexton's bet only for the latter to make it three bets, Viox called and then bet his open queens on sixth. Sexton called again and both players checked seventh.
Viox showed for two pair, kings and queens and Sexton showed for a buried pair of aces and a flush draw that had missed. This pot has put Viox in a commanding position now.

As the heads up match continued, Chris Viox's friends sportingly gave Mike Sexton a round of applause, asking him to commentate and play at the same time.
This made current announcer and member of floor staff Bob Smith, very sad.
